Raging Rex 2 is a video slot from Play ‘n Go that was released on March 17, 2022.The design of the game has a dinosaur motif, and during gameplay, we get the opportunity to encounter a colossal Tyrannosaurus rex as well as a wide range of other dinosaurs in a setting that is highly captivating. Re-Spins Feature

This feature is available only during the main game. It doesn't matter where on reels 2 through 6 Rex lands, as long as it's completely visible, it will activate Re-Spins. Rex becomes sticky and moves toward reel 1, progressing forward by one reel with each Re-Spin. Each time Hatchling lands on the reels, it becomes sticky and follows Rex. It depends on Rex's landing reel how many re-spins you can get, but the maximum amount is 5. When Rex reaches reel 1, he will perform his final Re-Spin.

Free Spins

3, 4, 5, or 6 Scatters trigger Free Spins. The amount of Free Spins that are given is determined by the feature that was chosen as well as the total number of Scatters that were collected.  On the trigger, a payment of 5, 10, 25, or 100 times the original stake is awarded for 3, 4, 5, or 6 Scatters, respectively. Our Experience Playing Raging Rex 2 

When we started playing the game, we were greeted with a familiar reelset that we had seen in the original Raging Rex with different dinosaurs on it. The soundtrack that was playing in the background, in comparison to the original, had a more heroic feel to it, and it put us in a positive mood. We were aware that the key feature that drives the vast majority of people to play slot machines is the manner in which the machines function in terms of the rewards it delivers. As a consequence of this, in order to put it through its paces, we placed a deposit equal to our typical amount, which is 200 Euros, and we established the stake to be one Euro. After that, we put this game through its paces by playing it for perhaps in the region of 300 rounds in order to properly evaluate its capabilities. Afterwards, we analyzed the results of our playthroughs. During the first one hundred spins, not long after we started them we triggered the Free Spins, chose the first option, which was the Primal Fury and it paid us a somewhat decent amount of around 50 times our bet. Besides that decent win, the payouts during the main game were not substantial, but enough to make us win 20 Euros after our first attempt. During the next 100 spins the situation was quite similar in terms of payouts, except that time we had a number of decent wins during the main game ranging from around 10 to 20 times the bet, and no bonus rounds. After that attempt we still had a little bit of profit. During our final 100 spins, the situation got worse, and with no significant payouts during the main game, and no Free Spins bonus round, we ended up losing around 30 Euros after 300 spins. Overall, it was a decent playthrough, but nothing too exciting.

Raging Rex 2 Verdict

As its predecessor, this slot is pretty straightforward, but it comes with more exciting Free Spins bonus features. However, during the course of 300 spins, we triggered them only once, which was not a good sign. The payout potential could be better if the player had a chance to trigger bonus rounds more often, but unfortunately that was not the case. Animations and soundtrack in this game are of a high standard, but that is not something that you can boast about, since there are a lot of slots out there with a similar quality.
