Catch Symbols

You will have the opportunity to land Catch symbols throughout your spins in both the main game and the Free Spins bonus round. If you randomly activate a boat that is located over one or more catch symbols, you will be awarded the cash reward that corresponds to the total value of that Catch symbol.

Mega Catch

This feature requires you to simultaneously trigger two boats that are located above one reel. This will result in all of the catch symbols appearing across all of the reels being gathered.

Free Spins

The free spins feature is triggered when the player collects three or more Scatter symbols anywhere in the game. If you collect 3, 4, or 5 scatter symbols, you will either earn 10, 15, or 20 Free Spins, according to the number of scatter symbols you got. Our Experience Playing Boat Bonanza

When we first began playing the game, we were met with a beautifully painted reelset, and the music playing in the background was reminiscent of traditional Irish folk music. The first one hundred spins were very unremarkable in terms of rewards. The largest of them occurred during the Mega Catch feature and resulted in just 15 euros, and when we caught one cash symbol with 9 euros on it. Because of it, we were out of pocket by 64 Euros, which was a really discouraging amount. The next one hundred spins were a little bit better, but still losing for us. Our bankroll after 200 spins was 78 Euros. The final one hundred spins were exactly the same as the previous ones, with the exception of triggering the Free Spins bonus round. However, it paid us only x50 the bet which was not enough to bounce back at least a little bit. Overall, after 300 spins, we lost almost all of our balance and walked away with a negative feeling about this slot.

Verdict

When it comes to games that have a fishing-related theme, the Big Bass series continues to be on top of its game and dominates the competition. Unfortunately, the fact that this slot grabbed some of their ideas and gave them their own spin, which did not result in an entertaining slot to play, betrays the fact that this slot was inspired by them. The payouts during the main game are almost non-existent, a few bonus features that this slot offers do not help in that regard, and the Free Spins bonus round is very difficult to trigger. After all is said and done, we recommend you sticking to the Big Bass series of slots rather than trying the new waters in this one. Play it at your own risk.
