Eye of Atum Slot Review
Eye of Atum is a video slot from Play ‘n Go that was released on March 17, 2022. By playing this brand new slot machine from Play'n Go, you may take a trip back in time, past the golden banks of the Nile, to the splendor that was Ancient Egypt. Play'n Go has launched a number of slots with Egyptian themes, thus it is reasonable to anticipate that this one will also be of a high quality. You are fortunate in that you will not be let down by this game, as it offers a couple of opportunities to win, including expanding wilds and free spins, and it also pays a lot of attention to the motif. In general, this is a copy of another popular slot, Eye of Horus. We would not mind if they came up with something new in it, but unfortunately they did not. You should read our review before deciding whether or not it is a game that is worth your time and money to play.

Free Spins
In order to trigger this bonus feature, a player has to collect at least 3 Scatter Symbols, and it gives 12 Free Spins regardless how many Scatters you collect. If you land wilds, the High-Paying with the lowest value will be upgraded to the next level up, and you will eventually be able to upgrade all of the premiums to the Eye of Atum symbol. 1, 2 , or 5 additional free spins, respectively, are awarded if 1, 2, or 3 wild symbols appear during the same free spin. During this bonus, a maximum of 150 free spins may be earned. Besides the free spins, Scatters award a monetary reward. 3, 4, 5 Scatter Symbols pay 2, 20, 500 times the bet respectively."
Our Experience Playing Eye of Atum
When we started playing the game, we were greeted with a pretty basic reelset with different Ancient Egypt themed symbols on it. The music that was playing in the background was something that you would expect with a slot based around such a subject. We were aware that the way slot machines function in terms of the winnings they might potentially provide is the primary factor that attracts the vast majority of people to play them. So to test it, we placed a deposit that was equivalent to the standard amount, which is 200 Euros, and we set the stake to 1 Euro. After that, we played this game for something in the vicinity of 300 rounds in order to put it through its paces. Unfortunately, there were some dead spins scattered throughout the first one hundred spins of the game. Because of this, and despite the fact that we were fortunate in winning some little amounts here and there, the first attempt we made resulted in a loss of around 50 Euros. For a slot machine that has a high degree of volatility, this was somewhat to be anticipated. The second one hundred spins that we played led in us triggering the free spins twice, and both times, the payout that was awarded to us was rather large, to be more specific, it was 45 times and 70 times the amount that we had bet correspondingly. During those 100 spins, there was also one fantastic payoff in the main game that was equal to 45 times the wager. As a direct consequence of those fantastic wins, we were able to finish with a profit of precisely 12 Euros after 200 spins. During our last hundred spins, we were fortunate enough to activate the free spins feature once again, but the reward was only around 25 times our original wager, which was a little bit disappointing. Unfortunately, the rewards throughout the main game were not very high, and as a result, we finished up with a deficit of 50 Euros on our balance. Overall, we lost quite a sum of money rather quickly and left the game not very satisfied.
Eye of Atum Verdict
There are a lot of Ancient Egypt themed slots out there, and this one is not the best representation of them. There are no bonus features, except Free Spins which makes this slot quite boring very quickly. Volatility is high, and this time it played a cruel joke on us and there is a big probability that you will get the similar outcome. There is some potential during the Free Spins thanks to the expanding wilds, but other than that there is not much going on. After everything is said and done, we would not recommend you playing this slot, there are simply better options to choose from.
