Champions of Mithrune Slot Review
A Play'n GO video slot called Champions of Mithrune takes place in the Mithrune mythological setting. The evil Lord Duran is attempting to subjugate the Mithrune realm by infecting it with his evil magic. It's your responsibility to halt him with the aid of five warriors known as the Mithrune champions. Each hero has a unique special attribute that upgrades or adds wild symbols. The functions of the characters can be activated during the free plays and used along with a multiplier on each turn. When it comes to design, the center of the screen is where the semi-transparent reels are placed. Parts of Mithrune are visible, including some houses and a large wall with waterfalls protruding from it. The soundtrack is opulent, a little post-apocalyptic, and loaded with excitement. Read our review to be prepared for all the nuances it has in store for us!

Champions of Mithrune Bonus Features
Wild Symbol
Acts like your regular wild symbol that you can find in many other games out there, but if the winning combination consists of this kind of symbols only, it pays like the most valuable symbol.
Champions Feature
Any turn has a chance for one of the winners to save you and enhance the current state of the reels. In the Power Up Features, it's also possible to activate one or more champion features, which will force the character to use that feature during each free spins. What each champion does is as follows:
- Anastina the Sorcerer. Adds a group of identical symbols to the reels that will fill the full grid, ranging in size from 2X2 to 5X5.
- Olc the Goblin. Makes the second, third, or fourth reels wild. Occasionally, Olc will turn all three reels into wilds.
- Silvana the Ranger. With her crossbow, she can fire anywhere from 4 to 7 wild symbols onto the screen.
- Gorm the Barbarian. Transforms 1–5 royal symbols into wild symbols.
- Syn the Shapeshifter. Morphs into the highest-paying symbl every character on the screen.
Power Up Feature
Prior to the free spins, the Power Up Feature begins. You are given 3 spins with the chance to hit blanks, potions, scatters, or tokens for champions. The spins are restarted back to 3 whenever a symbol falls. Every hero has a unique symbol, and if you manage to strike 3 of them, you'll activate that character's feature during every free turn. When you hit 3 potions, the multiplier will rise by 1, up to a maximum of 10 times, and if you hit 3 scatters, you'll get an additional free play, up to a total of 10. Scatters will increase the multiplier if the number of free plays reaches 10. Every time a character is revealed, Champions will also increase the number. The champions and potions will help to give more rounds if the multiplier is complete. When the player runs out of spins or all characters are triggered with a 10x multiplier and 10 free plays, the function ends.
Free Spins
The Power Up Feature and the Free Spins are triggered by collecting 3 scatters. Each character that has been enabled in the Power Up makes use of a unique power during each free spin. All payouts are subject to the multiplier, which ranges from 1x to 10x. Spins cannot be retriggered during the game.
Our Experience Playing Champions of Mithrune
From the moment we launched the game, we were greeted with a visually appealing reelset featuring a cast of heroic characters and traditional royal symbols. The majestic soundtrack added to the overall atmosphere of the slot and immediately drew us in. Knowing that many players prioritize the potential payout when choosing a slot to play, we took it upon ourselves to evaluate this aspect of the game. We employed our tried-and-true method, making a deposit of 200 euros and playing with a stake of 1 euro for approximately 300 rounds. During our first 100 spins, we experienced a few modest wins and a handful of bigger wins that were around 10 times our initial wager. Despite this success, we ultimately lost 40 euros. The high volatility of the game was apparent, and our subsequent 100 spins yielded similar results. However, during this round, we did manage to win almost 30 times our initial wager in the main game, which was a positive sign. After 200 spins, we found ourselves down 70 euros but remained hopeful for a turnaround. Our last 100 spins proved to be a turning point as we triggered the coveted Free Spins bonus. Thanks to the Sylvana the Ranger feature, which added an abundance of wilds to the screen, we were able to secure a substantial payout of 153 times our original wager. With this windfall, coupled with a few decent payouts during the main game, we ultimately came out ahead, profiting 14 euros after our 300 spins. Overall, we were pleased with the outcome of our session, considering the high risk we had taken. The engaging gameplay, impressive graphics, and exhilarating soundtrack made for an enjoyable experience, and the payout ultimately justified our investment.
Champions of Mithrune Verdict
The fantasy motif Play'n GO created for us is quite amazing. It is reminiscent of the fantastical settings found in many popular games. Each of the champions contributes a unique special ability to the blend. Silvana the Ranger, who can fire up to 7 wilds onto the reels, is probably our favorite of the characters, but each one contributes something helpful. When you unlock multiple characters in the Power Up, the free plays can become a veritable gold mine, particularly if you also receive a decent multiplier. Given the high degree of volatility, the maximum gain of 7,500X the stake could be greater. Additionally, there is only a 1 in 66.7 million odds of bagging the max win. In this industry, the RTP of 96.25% is about normal. As always, be careful not to play any of the inferior variants with RTPs as low as 84.21%.
