Baccarat SA Gaming review
Six cards sit face down on the felt before the countdown even starts. New players notice it first at Baccarat SA Gaming. It also answers the oldest doubt about live baccarat. The cards were out before the money was, so nobody can adjust them to where the chips land. Eight decks in the shoe. Banker at 98.94%. Side bets that climb to 100:1.
Baccarat SA Gaming is a live dealer card game streamed from SA Gaming's studios. Some casino lobbies file it with the slots, so a fair share of players arrive looking for a Baccarat SA Gaming slot. There are no reels here. Every decision you make happens before the deal, and that makes the choice of bet the whole game. This review is built around that choice: what each bet returns, which table version to sit at and how far the side bets are worth chasing. Players must be 21+.

The studio behind the table
SA Gaming has been running live games for more than 17 years, and baccarat is the reason most players know the name. The studio supplies casinos rather than running one. Its B2B license comes from the Curaçao Gaming Authority, with a South African manufacturer license and a Peruvian supplier authorization on top.
Asia is the home market, yet Europe has its own lobby. SA Euro opened in 2020 and reached 12 baccarat tables by autumn 2021 - E01 to E08 deal traditional rules, while E09 to E12 run Speed Baccarat. In July 2026 the studio rolled out redesigned tables under the name 'Modern Luxury', with a dark, gold-trimmed set. Baccarat SA Gaming shares the lobby with Roulette SA Gaming and Deluxe Blackjack, but it gets far more tables than either.
Baccarat SA Gaming RTP and odds for every main bet
Three main bets, three very different prices. The Baccarat SA Gaming RTP can't be configured by the casino, so the numbers below hold at every site.

Banker leads by a hair over Player, and the commission is the price of that small lead. Tie is the trap. It pays 8:1 and feels generous, yet it hands the house €14.36 of every €100 staked on it over time. One more detail from the win column: about one round in ten ties, and a tie pushes both Banker and Player bets, so your stake simply comes back.
Stakes start at €1 and reach €500 on the tables we checked, though each table shows its own range. The Baccarat SA Gaming max win sits in the side bets, at 100:1, and the cash amount depends on the side-bet limit at your table.
How a round of Baccarat SA Gaming plays out
The rules are standard Punto Banco, the version you'll find on most Online Baccarat tables. Player and Banker each get two cards and race toward 9. Tens and face cards count 0, aces count 1, and a total over 9 drops its first digit, so 8 plus 7 makes 5. Once your chips are down, the third-card rule decides who draws. There are no hit or stand buttons.

What changes at SA Gaming is the order. The dealer lays out six cards face down before betting opens, since six is the most any round can use. Once the countdown ends, those cards turn over in sequence. If the round only needs four, the last two go to the discard tray.
A new shoe starts with a burn. The dealer flips one card and burns that many (10 for a ten or a face card). When the cut card shows up, the next round is the last of the shoe.
Third-card rule
Both hands stand on a two-card 8 or 9. Otherwise Player draws on 0 to 5 and stands on 6 or 7. If Player stands, Banker draws on 0 to 5. If Player draws, Banker follows this chart.

You never need to apply this yourself. It's worth knowing for one reason only: it explains why Banker wins slightly more often, which is why the commission exists.
Which Baccarat SA Gaming table to pick
The lobby carries several versions of the same game. Payouts on Player and Tie don't change between them, and Banker changes in only one.
Classic tables
The standard countdown, the standard 5% commission on Banker. If you bet Banker most of the time, this is the table with the best math.
Speed Baccarat
Same rules, shorter betting window. More rounds fit into an hour, which suits players who find the classic pace slow. The edge per hand stays the same, but the edge per hour grows with every extra round.
No Commission
An in-game toggle switches the table to No Commission. Banker now pays 1:1 - except a Banker win on 6, which pays only half. It looks like a free upgrade. It isn't quite: the half-paid sixes cost more than the commission saves, and Banker's return drops to 98.54%. Player bettors lose nothing either way, so the toggle only matters if you back Banker.
Thai Baccarat
SA Gaming also runs Thai Baccarat tables with native Thai-speaking dealers. Nothing in the bet math changes for European players. Mainly it's a different room with a different atmosphere.
Baccarat SA Gaming side bets, from cheap to long shots
The side bets are where Baccarat SA Gaming goes further than most live tables. They also carry much bigger house edges than the main three, so think of them as the expensive part of the menu.
Pairs and naturals
Player Pair and Banker Pair pay 11:1 when that side's first two cards share a rank. Any Pair pays 5:1 for a pair on either side, and Perfect Pair pays 25:1 when rank and suit both match. Player Natural and Banker Natural pay 7:2 if that hand reaches 8 or 9 on two cards.
Player Bonus and Banker Bonus
SA Gaming markets these as Dragon Bonus. You win when your side takes the round with a natural or by four points or more. A natural win pays 1:1, a natural tie pushes, and a bigger margin pays more.

A six-card Super Lucky Seven is the top payout at the table. SA Gaming was among the first live studios to put Lucky Seven on its tables, after Lucky Six had already been running for a while.
When the side bets close
Few players spot this until it happens to them. Side bets shut down partway through the shoe: pair bets after round 60, Player and Banker Bonus after round 40, and the rest after round 50. Late in a shoe the remaining cards become easier to track, and the cutoff takes that edge away. Keep an eye on the round counter if side bets are part of your plan.
Roadmaps, Multi-Bet and the rest of the interface
Every table logs the shoe in roadmaps. Red circles are Banker wins, blue are Player and green marks a Tie. Small dots flag pairs, a 6 inside a red circle marks a Banker win on six, and a 7 in a blue circle marks a Player win on seven. Regulars read them the way bettors read match stats.
Multi-Bet puts several tables on one screen. Quick Multi-Bet, in the switch-table menu, places the same chips on several tables at once without opening each one. It's handy, and it multiplies everything. Four tables at €5 means €20 at risk every round.
There's also a betting limit between the two sides that catches people out. The Player and Banker limit caps the gap between bets on the two sides, so a bet on Player raises the room on Banker by the same amount. A Bet Record logs every settled round. You can also send dealers paid gifts in several tiers. They're a tip and change nothing about the odds.
On a phone the table runs in the browser, as it has since SA Gaming moved to HTML5 in 2018. Roadmaps, side bets and the No Commission toggle all stay. If your connection drops mid-round, the round finishes, confirmed bets settle and the result waits in the Bet Record. One table at a time works best on a small screen, though - Multi-Bet gets cramped fast.
Play Baccarat SA Gaming free first
Free play is rare at live tables, but here it exists. SA Gaming runs a Play For Fun page on its own website. After a captcha you sit at the real Baccarat SA Gaming tables, with the same dealers and the same shoe, and bet free chips instead of money.
Use the free Baccarat SA Gaming session for the things that are hard to learn with real money on the line. Watch how fast a Speed table closes betting. Read a roadmap until the symbols mean something without thinking. And see how rarely Lucky Six really lands over a full shoe before you spend anything on it.
Our experience with one full shoe
To show how the numbers feel in practice, we modeled one full Baccarat SA Gaming shoe on a classic table: 76 rounds, a €200 balance and €2 on Banker every hand. Ten €1 Lucky Six bets went in during the first 50 rounds, plus two €1 Tie bets for curiosity.
Banker won 35 rounds, Player 34, and 7 tied. At 0.95:1 the Banker wins paid €66.50, the Player wins cost €68 and the ties pushed, so the main bet lost €1.50 over the whole shoe. One Lucky Six landed on two cards for 12:1, which covered the other nine misses with €3 left over. Both Tie bets lost. The shoe closed at €199.50.
The main bet barely moved the balance - the low volatility of Banker play in action. Almost all the excitement came from €12 of side bets. And on the same 35 Banker wins, four of them on a 6, No Commission mode would have paid €66 instead of €66.50. Fifty cents per shoe sounds like nothing. Over a hundred shoes it isn't.
Where to play Baccarat SA Gaming for real money
Every casino deals the same 98.94% on Banker, so the casino choice is about safety, payouts and whether SA Gaming is in the live lobby at all. These three list it among their live providers.

Pledoo has the highest withdrawal caps of the three and scores 8.4 on GamblerID, and Bet It All belongs to the same owner, Momus2006 N.V. BetAndYou also carries SimplePlay, SA Gaming's slot brand. One warning applies to all of them. Welcome bonuses are usually built for slots, and live games often count little or nothing toward wagering. If you only play Baccarat SA Gaming online, compare the live cashback or skip the bonus. For more sites with strong live baccarat lobbies, see Live Baccarat Casinos.

Special bet linked to a progressive jackpot |
Premium Baccarat leads on max win at x225 through its jackpot side bet, and Baccarat SA Gaming comes second at x100 thanks to Super Lucky Seven. RTP is level across the board, because the Banker math is identical.
What the SA Gaming table adds is real cards and a pre-dealt shoe, plus the deepest side-bet ladder in the group. It gives ground on stakes. The €500 cap sits below the €1,000 at NetEnt and Realistic Games, and the €1 minimum is ten times NetEnt's. A low-stakes learner will be happier at Baccarat Professional Series. If a jackpot shot matters more, Premium Baccarat fits better. Players who want a human dealer and a long list of side bets have the clearest reason to pick SA Gaming's table.
Our verdict
Baccarat SA Gaming gets the fundamentals right. Banker returns 98.94% and the six pre-dealt cards settle the fairness question before anyone asks it. With side bets running from 5:1 to 100:1, the table also has more range than most, while Speed tables and Multi-Bet let you set the pace.
The weak spots are mostly about money. Big bettors will hit the €500 cap fast, and No Commission quietly costs Banker players a little. Slot-built welcome bonuses rarely help here either. Spend a shoe on the Play For Fun tables first. Then pick a classic table, back Banker and keep side bets to a fixed slice of the session. More card games are on the Real Money Games page at GamblerID.
