Our Experience Playing Rainbow Riches

When we started the game, we instantly realized how old this slot was. The visual design seemed outdated by modern standards. However, this did not turn us away in our pursuit in finding out why people loved it so much. After making our customary deposit of 200 Euros, we changed the line bet to 0.05 and selected 20 paylines. This brought our total wager up to 1 Euro, and we started our first 100 spins. After around 50 spins, we caught 3 leprechauns and triggered the bonus round which paid us only 11 Euros. Pretty disappointing… Another Road to Riches brought us 11 Euros again. The third time's the charm they say, this time we got lucky and won 40 Euros. The fourth attempt paid us only 14 Euros. When we were down to 100 Euros on our balance, we decided to double the wager and try to at least return our initial 200, because the game was getting kind of boring. We played like this for about half an hour, caught a couple of disappointing Road to Riches again, and one decent 90 Euros payout thanks to the Rainbow Riches symbols. To be honest, the gameplay became almost intolerable, and we decided to go all in with 5 Euros bet with our final 100 Euros. Right before we were about to run out of money, we collected 3 leprechauns again, and this time, in some miraculous way, we went all the way to the x40 multiplier. Our balance was 212 Euros. We somehow managed to win a little in this HIGHLY volatile slot that had been described as a medium-volatility machine. In the end, I believe that we were simply really fortunate, because if things had gone any other way, it would have been a devastating turn of events for us.

Honestly, we can not understand the reason for this slot's immense popularity. Perhaps it's due to the fact that it had its start in pubs, where people began playing it when they were younger and now want to, in a sense, relive those years. When held up to today's standards, the animation in this slot seems incredibly old. Even though it advertises itself as a slot with a medium level of volatility, it will spend your money as quickly as a slot with a very high level of volatility, and it will pay out quite rarely. If you are new to gambling, you should probably try something else first, and if you've been gambling for a while, stick to the slot machines you already know provide a good payout.
