Monopoly Big Baller Slot Review
Monopoly Big Baller is the sequel to the highly successful Monopoly Live, which brought Evolution Gaming worldwide recognition. The game is designed as a bingo-style show, based on one of the most popular board games in the world. In addition to the main gameplay, there are bonus rounds where the chances of winning big increase significantly. During the bonus, the camera moves across a 3D game board, adding excitement and allowing players to collect multipliers on their way to massive prizes.
Bonus Feature
To begin, you need to place a bet on either 1 to 4 Chance and/or Free Space cards, after which your card will generate a random number from 1 to 60. You can switch between Chance and Free Space cards at any time, and they work as follows:
- Chance Card - the centre cell is always a multiplier, but free spaces may be added later.
- Free Space Card - the centre cell is always a "free space", which acts as a drawn number, improving your chances of making a line.
Once bets are placed, Mr. Monopoly pulls a lever to randomly assign free spaces and multipliers to your cards. There are three types of Chance multipliers:
- Standard Multiplier - boosts a win line containing the number.
- Line Multiplier - pays if you win the line.
- Global Multiplier - applies to any win, even if the multiplier number is not in the winning line.
Free spaces always act as drawn numbers, while multipliers activate when the ball drawn matches the multiplier number on your card.
After free spaces and multipliers are assigned, 20 out of 60 numbered balls are drawn. If a ball's number matches a number on your card, it gets marked automatically. The drawn numbers are displayed on your screen, showing the remaining balls to be drawn.
- Red balls match numbers on one or more of your cards.
- Gray balls do not match any of your numbers.
If you fill one or more lines on a card, the bet on that card wins.
Bonus Game
If you place a bet on ‘3 Rolls’ or ‘5 Rolls’, you will have a chance to participate in the bonus game. If you manage to match all the numbers for your selected bet, the bonus game will start immediately after the 20 balls have been drawn in the main game. The bonus round is played with two dice:
- If all numbers for the "3 Rolls" card are matched, the dice will be rolled three times.
- If all numbers for the "5 Rolls" card are matched, the dice will be rolled five times.
- If both bonus cards are completed, two separate bonus rounds will be played one after another.
Monopoly Big Baller - The Board
It is worth mentioning that the Monopoly board has the same structure as a regular Monopoly board, but in this case, each property comes with a multiplier attached. At the start of the bonus game, you will notice that houses and hotels are randomly built on some properties, increasing their multipliers.
Mr Monopoly moves to the position corresponding to your dice roll, and you can also win random cash prizes from Chance and Community Chest positions. If Mr Monopoly stops on Jail, you need to roll a double to get out. You receive an extra dice roll if you roll a double during the regular bonus game, even if you are not in jail.
When Mr Monopoly passes “GO”, all prizes on the board are doubled.
- Landing on Income Tax reduces your total bonus win by 10%.
- Landing on Super Tax reduces your total winnings by 20%.
Once no more rolls remain, the bonus game ends, and all your bonus winnings are paid out along with any winnings from the bingo base game.
Verdict
Monopoly Big Baller stands as a prime example of a high-quality live game that will surely be remembered by many players for its unique visual style and dynamic camera work, especially during the Monopoly bonus round. You also can't ignore the incredible max multiplier of x100,000, which is truly impressive. If you played Monopoly with friends in your childhood, the feeling of nostalgia will stay with you throughout the game, while the opportunity to play for real stakes will add plenty of excitement!
