Gods of Kemet is a slot from Wizard Games that was released on December 16, 2021. As a part of our evaluation procedure, we decided to look up the term "Kemet" on Google since we aren't very knowledgeable about geography. Oh, I see, it makes perfect sense that the ancient Egyptians named the region surrounding the Nile by this name! This name is translated as "Black Land," and it refers to the rich black soil that is generated as a consequence of the yearly flood of the Nile. Prior to reading this review, we were not familiar with this word. You get a very good visual picture of the gods that these people worshiped during this time period when you play the Gods of Kemet slot machine, although if I'm being honest, it does appear a little bit old. Gods of Kemet Bonus Features
Big Block Symbol
If one of the paying symbols happens to fall in the middle position of reel 3, it will randomly convert into a 3x3 big block symbol that will appear on reels 2, 3, and 4.
Free Spins
Free spins are awarded in increments of 8, 12, or 15 depending on the number of Scatter symbols that landed anywhere on the reels. When the Buy Bonus option is used to activate the bonus round, the player is rewarded with 10 free spins. During the Free Spins bonus round, reels 2, 3, and 4 unite to form a single, massive reel that spins together as one. This reel has Big Block symbols. During the feature, all of the symbols, with the exception of the Wild, have the potential to become Big Block symbols. The Buy Bonus option is the sole way to activate the feature, at which point the Wild may appear as a Big Block symbol. During the Free Spins bonus round, if the Scatter symbol appears as a Big Block symbol, the player will get an extra 3 Free Spins. When the Fire Ball sign appears as a Big Block symbol, the player is rewarded with the Fire Ball feature.
Fire Ball Feature
The Fire Ball feature is activated if 6 or more of the Fire Ball symbols appear on the reels in any position. The credit rewards that may be won from the Fire Ball symbols range from 0.8x to 100x the amount of the entire stake, and there is also the possibility of winning a Super Bonus award. The symbols that triggered the feature will remain in their positions throughout the feature. If there are any open positions on the reels that do not have Fire Ball symbols on them, the reels will respin 3 times with the possibility of additional Fire Ball symbols filling in the empty positions. The number of respins is set back to 3 if a new Fire Ball symbol appears anywhere on the reels. The feature comes to an end when either all 15 spots on the reels are occupied by the Fire Ball Symbol or when there are no more respins available.
Super Bonus
There are three levels of Super Bonuses that can be won only during the Fire Ball feature. The Super Bonus values are calculated as follows:

Our Experience Playing Gods of Kemet
When we first began playing the game, we were met with a very simple reelset that had a variety of symbols with an Ancient Egypt theme, as well as a music that was designed to complement the general appearance of the slot machine. Because slot machines often use Ancient Egypt as a backdrop, it would be challenging for this game to compete with others that use the same concept. This slot came with a lot of different features and we hoped to see some decent payout potential because of them. To test its payout potential we resorted to our usual method of depositing 200 Euros, setting the bet to 1 Euro, and giving it around 300 spins or so. Not long after we started our first one hundred spins, we triggered the Fire Ball Feature that awarded us an unbelievable payout of 515x the bet thanks to the MAJOR super bonus that we collected. We knew that our experience would be paid for at this point, so it became a lot easier for us in terms of stress. Before we finished the first one hundred spins, we triggered the Fire Ball feature again, and this time we filled all 15 spots and got a payout of 60x the bet. After only one hundred spins, we were ahead by 540 Euros which was an excellent beginning. The next one hundred spins were not as profitable as the first ones of course, but still we managed to trigger to get a couple of decent wins here and there which allowed us not to lose too much. The final one hundred spins were similar to the previous one hundred, however we managed to win 480 Euros in the end. With the wonderful luck that we received we went on our merry way.
Gods of Kemet Verdict
As we had mentioned before, the competition in this slot niche is very fierce so it would be very hard to stand out. However, in our opinion, this slot has all the characteristics to be a great addition to the family of Ancient Egypt themed video slots thanks to its abundance of bonus features and a great payout potential during them. It is possible that you may not have as much success with this slot machine as we did, but we still highly suggest that you give it a go. Good luck and have fun!
