Before sharing our conclusions, let us deliver our experience playing this slot. To make this, we have allocated a €200 budget for a 300-spin game session (€1 per spin).

The first win happened during the 6th spin, bringing us not that much — €0.4. Overall, there were 26 regular wins (€0.2 — €7.5) within the base game, 14 of which turned less than our €1 bet amount. Also, there was the max non-wins gap of 14 spins. Within the first hundred spins, we met our single FS round triggering. Sadly, that was out in just five spins, earning us exactly zero euros since no one instant or usual win happened. Luckily, despite that disappointing result, Instant Wins slightly diversified our base gameplay due to the five cash prizes, which brought us a total of €8.5. So, the final balance amount upon the 100th spin was out, totaling €142.4.

The second hundred spins didn’t see the FS bonus game activating, but there were 25 regular wins from €0.2 to €23, 12 of which were under the current stake amount. To finalize our review, we have to say that it is a beautiful modern video slot with innovative Instant Prizes mechanics and quite an original bonus game without a free spin limit, which is not that frequent to see. Coupled with the Net & Fisherman symbols, the Golden Fishes can provide, under certain circumstances, a giant enough overall sum of Instant Prizes.

But the main, from our point of view, flaw of this game is that although it can present good wins during both — base & bonus games, achieving them depends too much on a one-single Net feature. For instance, the Fisherman symbol is on board as a Collector just when under the overlaying Net symbol. Whereas an ‘unlimited’ bonus game, as in our video slot test drive, may end on just five free spins with zero profit if the Net picture did not fall in time on the reels to earn some Instant Prize & prolong the bonus game. Another example is an FS multiplier, which applies only to the Instant Wins that, again, are gaining only due to the Net. So, even rarely triggered bonus games do not guarantee you at least some win because of heavy dependence on the frequency of the Net symbol appearance. 

That leads to the unstoppable meltdown of the balance amount during the base game due to the not-always-big regular wins (almost every second prize is less than the current bet), and even triggering the FS game may not resolve your current income issues. On the other hand, under certain circumstances, when Net symbols are contributing to this, you can get the big jackpot.
