Coin Quest 2 is a sequel to their most popular slot to date, the original Coin Quest and it was released on December 14, 2022. In this version of the game, you will find yourself in the jungle of modern-day Mexico, however, the environment around you will be more open, and in the distance, you will see pyramids and totem poles. The visuals in the sequel are even more detailed and impressive looking than they were before, and there is little question that the sequel takes place in the same mythical Aztec area as the first game. The hand drumming and shouts from the previous game have been sped up, which gives the impression that the music has been improved since the previous game. Even while the reels are still contained behind a stonewall, you can now view a greater portion of the Aztec town, including pyramids that are partially obscured by clouds in the top left and right corners of the screen. Coin Quest 2 Bonus Features
Avalanche Feature
When a winning combination is formed, the symbols in that combination explode and vanish, making room for a second Avalanche of symbols that may result in larger prizes. The Avalanches will continue as long as there are still matches happening.
Coin Clusters Feature
In the game, there are coin symbols, and each one has a multiplier value that ranges from 1x the stake to 500x the stake. When 5 or more Coin symbols fall in a cluster, the multiplier values of the coins in the cluster are added together, and that number is then multiplied by the amount bet. The win is paid out, the cluster explodes, and then, before any more symbols fall in, a new Coin forms in one of the empty spots with the entire multiplier value of the Coin-Cluster. This happens before any more symbols are put in.
Collect Meter Feature
In both the main game and the bonus features, there is a collect meter. Every time a symbol explodes, the collect meter moves forward by one step. When 25 symbols appear at once, the Collect Feature feature kicks in, and Coins and Wilds are added to the grid. After it has been triggered, the meter value is reduced by 25. After each main game round, the collect meter goes back to where it started. When the meter reaches 50, the Overcharge feature starts. This feature gives you more Coins and Wilds than a normal collect meter feature. Following the completion of the Overcharge function, the meter value will be decreased by 50.
Power Up Symbols
These symbols may appear in the main game as well as in the bonus games, where they will activate a variety of additional features:
- Meter Charge. Adds 5, 10, or 20 charges to the collect meter, as shown on the symbol, and changes into a Wild symbol.
- Wild Mask. Adds more Wild symbols to the grid and becomes a Wild symbol itself.

Our Experience Playing Coin Quest 2
When we started the game, we were greeted with familiar reelset that we had seen in the original Coin Quest, but this time it had a little bit more sinister vibe to it. The music that was playing in the background was enticing and set us in an adventurous mood and made us eager to see how this slot behaved in terms of payouts. In order to do this, we turned to our standard technique, which included making a deposit of 200 Euros, lowering the stake to 1 Euro, and giving it something in the vicinity of 300 spins. During our first 100 spins, with the help of the Collect Meter feature that added coins and wilds to the reels, we managed to get a number of decent payouts ranging from 10 to 25 times our bet. Because of those rewards we almost managed to break even. Our next 100 spins were quite similar, with payout during the main game, but we triggered the Free Spins, and with the help of bonus symbols such as Wild Mask, Coin Mask, and Transform Mask we ended up winning a very generous amount of 349 times our bet. Our final 100 spins, as we had expected, were a lot more modest in terms of payouts. No bonus rounds, the biggest payout during the main game was around 10 times the bet. As its predecessor, this slot is a well designed one, with an abundance of interesting features that can keep you entertained for a long time. When it comes to payouts, it might be hit or miss, just as it is with the majority of slots that have a high degree of volatility.
