Rome: The Golden Age Slot Review
Roman civilisation contributed significantly to the advancement of humans since it set the stage for the later development of practically every area of human existence. Great minds helped the Romans achieve wealth as they created the empire, brick by brick. The Roman Empire was destroyed by wars, but Rome: The Golden Age by NetEnt transports players to a time when the once-proud society was far more prosperous. However, individuals still shed blood, mainly for amusement, even during the Roman Peace. Gladiators were created from slaves, and massive amphitheatres were erected to host brutal duel matches and terrible fights. This brings us to Rome: The Golden Age, which is positioned on a stunning balcony with a view of the battleground. We see a rather unconventional grid surrounded by stunning marble columns and sculptures, NetEnt performed a fantastic job of evoking Roman architecture. These seats were reserved for the nobility who used their hands to choose the destiny of the gladiators.

Rome: The Golden Age Features
Wild Symbol. When the Golden Age symbol shows up on the reels, a Frame shows where it is. If The Golden Age symbol randomly changes into a Rome symbol, its Frame becomes an Active Frame. On the next spin, the position with the Rome symbol and all adjacent positions with the Frames turn into Wild symbols. Wild symbols substitute for all symbols except the Bonus symbols.
Hold & Spin. The Bonus round starts when 3 Bonus symbols show up on reels 2, 3, and 4 during the main game. Before the first spin, all positions with Frames and Active Frames that did not turn into Wild symbols during the game round that triggered the Bonus game become locked, stay on the reels and give a random prize between 0.5 and 50 times the bet at the end of the feature. During the Bonus feature, each position on the reel spins by itself. If a Rome symbol lands on any unlocked position on the reels, the number of remaining spins goes back to 3, a random prize between 0.5 and 50 times the bet is given, and the position is locked. If all positions get locked, the Bonus game end and all random prizes on Rome symbols get an extra x2 Multiplier.
Multiplier. Whenever The Golden Age symbol lands on the reels in the main game, 1 to 4 points are added to the progress bar of the Bonus game Multiplier collect meter. Each time the progress bar reaches 200 points, the Bonus game Multiplier is upgraded. The maximum Multiplier value is x1000. The Multiplier is applied at the end of the feature.

Rome: The Golden Age Slot Verdict
It has been a while since NetEnt released a slot Rome: The Golden Age. Even though Rome: The Golden Age has a similar layout to Jumanji, it is an entirely distinct game. You can never be sure if you'll be given a positive or negative review, much like from a capricious emperor. Low symbol values make the task more difficult and guarantee that even full-screen wins are kept to a minimum. The Frame Collection system fills in some of the gaps, and the function activates frequently enough to keep you afloat. Although framed positions going wild have been done before, the way they spread here is fairly different and does generate a fun tension as they go from one to the next, stacking up around a common sign to achieve a win. It's always good to know that a huge payoff is within your grasp, and the slot's 100,000x potential puts it in the same league as Dead or Alive 2 and Push Gaming's Razor Shark.
