Fruitopolis Bonus Features

Cascades Feature

It is easy to string together a series of wins since winning symbols are removed from the screen and new ones are inserted in their place automatically after each win. In addition to that, random win multipliers of 2x are applied to certain symbols. These are added to the totals of wins in which they are employed, and if there are many of them involved, the totals of those wins are totaled together.

The Juice Meter Feature

The Juice Meter, which is located to the right of the playing field and may hold a variety of different modifiers. You may fill the meter by collecting winning symbols, after you have collected at least 20 of these symbols, all of the modifiers will be added. 

There are a total of 5 distinct modifiers, and each one serves a purpose that is distinct from the others:

 - A maximum of 15 Picnic Wilds may be added to the playing field thanks to the Wild Scatter feature. 

 - A variable number of symbols undergo transformation when the Zap modifier is applied. 

 - The Spawn modification has the ability to generate matching symbols out of thin air.

 - The Merge modifier connects two fruit symbols that already match by transforming the symbols that are in between them into matching symbols. I

 - The Bomb, when used, causes any low-paying symbols to explode.

Free Spins Feature

The Free Spins feature will be activated and you will get either 10 or 15 free spins, depending on the number of Star Scatters that you land, 4 or 5 respectively. The feature will always begin with five win multipliers of 2x on the board. When it is activated, these multipliers will always be changed with bigger ones, going all the way up to 10x. That keeps the win boosts running, and if you land other Star Scatters, you may gain even more Free Spins added to your total. If you obtain 3 or 4 Star Scatters, an additional 5 or 10 free spins will be added to your total.

The Double Chance Feature

Players also have the option to employ the Double Chance function, albeit doing so will result in a 25% increase in the cost of their wagers. In return, your probability of activating the Free Spins feature will be increased by a factor of two!

Our Experience Playing Fruitopolis

When we started the game we were greeted with cute looking reelset and futuristic sounding music playing in the background. There was no question that everything had a charming and whimsical appearance, but how did the payouts work on this slot machine? It was up to us to discover the answer. In order to do this, we used our standard procedure, which consisted of making a deposit of 200 Euros, adjusting the stake to 1 Euro, and giving it about 300 spins. The first 100 spins, as we expected, brought a lot of small wins thanks to the high hit frequency but nothing special. No Free Spins were activated during our first attempt, but thanks to the Juice Meter Feature we had a somewhat decent payout amounting to around 15 times our bet. As a result of our first attempt, we lost only around 10 Euros. The situation with regard to wins remained almost unchanged for the subsequent one hundred spins. Except we activated the Free Spins feature with 10 of them, and it rewarded us a payout that was rather satisfactory—around 60 times our original bet. During our final 100 spins, the situation was a little bit worse, no free spins, and the Juice Meter was not so active, and as a result it was a losing attempt. However, after 300 spins, we managed to win some money, around 33 Euros to be more precise and left the game quite satisfied.

Fruitopolis Verdict

This is a cute looking video slot with a number of interesting features and a decent payout potential thanks to them. The Free Spins feature, in our experience, did not come that often, but when it did, the payout was decent. Those bonus features come quite often, but most of the time the payout is not something worth boasting about. Taking into consideration its high volatility, you should be very careful and know when to stop, because it can drain your money rather quickly.
